Since the bottle brush had almost stopped flowering it didn’t have many insects on it. The other tree was in full flower and had 5 types of bees and a few wasps, so I combined the two photos to create this painting.
As part of my daily routine I walk or ride the 3.6km circuit around the old ammunition bunkers and on this occasion I spotter some hairy caterpillars.
