Exhibition Opening Night

Well after nine months of hard work I finally got to see my artwork and name plastered all over the walls of Dogwood Crossing Art Gallery at Miles. It was an excellent night and I was on a buzz all night, it was so good to share my artwork and talk to so many people about my art.

All the people that bought my original artworks on opening night were Miles locals, so I have been told. It is such a good feeling to know that my artwork will be hanging in peoples homes in the local community and also to be asked to paint some artworks for the local Historical Village was a bonus.

I would like to thank all the locals and my family and friends that came out to support me for opening night.

For my Black Label collection I use Winsor & Newton Gouache on Black Colourfix Art Spectrum Paper or Black Mi-Teintes Touch Canson Paper.

My painting come from my own experiences that I have photographed while traveling. By reading this blog, you as a viewer can now hear The Story Behind the Painting. Where, when, what was happening while I was photographing the wildlife.

    • Thank you. Now I have to start looking for a new gallery and a new theme to exhibit.
It’s just about the off season at Possum Park so plenty of time to paint but it gets extremely hot in summer and no aircon in the cottage makes painting hard work.
