We spent a few hours walking among some stunning ferns before heading into the depths of the dark tunnel only illuminated by my touch and the twins phones.

Bunker 19 is a converted ammunition bunker that has been converted into an underground living experience, thats fully furnished complete with air-conditioning, power and hot water.

Whenever I visit my home town of Filey, North Yorkshire England I always like to walk along the cliff tops to Scarborough, this usually takes a few hours with spectacular views the whole way.

Bundaberg’s Alexandra Park Zoo has a small collection local animals and the best part is it’s free to wander around.

As part of my daily routine I walk or ride the 3.6km circuit around the old ammunition bunkers and on this occasion I spotter some hairy caterpillars.

Sneak Peek I was supposed to have this exhibition last year but it became a virtual exhibition online as all the galleries closed down due to Covid. A little disappointing but this gave me another opportunity to create more artworks for my exhibition nine months later. I met up with mum so we could have lunch and take her to the Mary Poppins museum in Maryborough before attending the opening night to… Read More

An example of patterns in rock is at the base of the large termite mound after I added a few lines and cracks I started seeing a bear so I added a nose, arms and some claws.

I was travelling way out west in the far reaches of Queensland when I came across a wonderful free camping spot called Clem Walton Park at Corella Dam, in fact it was so beautiful I stayed for 2.5 weeks

In September 2020 I visited the Cairns Aquarium so I could photograph some of the larger and more dangerous marine life with getting wet.

Well this is a different kind of a story as I’ve broken my own rules about only using my own photographs. I saw a sea urchin in seaweed on a friends instagram account (Charlottegannet).

I was staying at Mission Beach in tropical north Queensland and I was told about a day trip to Dunk Island, so armed with $40 I boarded the ferry and left the mainland behind me.
