House of Negotiable Affections

The Story Behind the Sketch

Skagway had some amazing buildings, and I could have happily spent hours taking photos and sketching all day. I came across a cute little library that someone had taken a lot of pride building I suspect. It was filled with lots of books that I could see through the windows.

Adjacent to the library were two small buildings that I found out were occupied and used by sex workers, that came from all over the world during the gold rush. Anyway I thought they were funny and would make a good ink sketch.
