This artwork of the blue-winged kookaburra’s was a commissioned artwork so I don’t really know much about the location, apart from some place on the north coast of Queensland. This is the third painting I’ve been commissioned to do for this couple because they have 3 children and want to leave them each a painting. Which I think is a lovely thought and to know that my artwork will be passed down each generation hopefully.

For my Black Label collection I use Winsor & Newton Gouache on Black Colourfix Art Spectrum Paper or Black Mi-Teintes Touch Canson Paper.
My painting come from my own experiences that I have photographed while traveling. By reading this blog, you as a viewer can now hear The Story Behind the Painting. Where, when, what was happening while I was photographing the wildlife.
