Sacred Kingfisher #2

The Story Behind the Painting

I went birding a few months ago saw a flash of orange and blue and immediately got excited because of a potential new bird at Possum Park. Once I managed to locate it hidden in the tree I realised it was a kingfisher, something I hadn’t seen for about a year. It must have taken me about 30mins to get a good clear shot of the bird and the next day I saw it making a nest in an old termite’s nest.
