It’s been a busy weeks for shows, first the Miles Show and a few days later the Chinchilla Show. So I had to come up with a different selection of artworks for both shows. I saved my best for the Chinchilla Show because there was more artists entering this competition. I did make a mistake of putting two artworks in the same category so more attention to filling in the paperwork next year.

I sold my possum about a month ago but it with the condition it could be placed in the Chinchilla show, so I’m stoked that it won first place.

With my first place winning it was the exact same price as the book by Gary Davis which was a top bloke at the show. Also $5 of his sales went to the Aussie farmers. Looking forward to sitting down and getting stuck into this one.

I don’t have many landscapes at the moment because I’ve been concentrating on old cars and tractors for my recent exhibition. This was such a beautiful scene from my 2018 Camino when I walked 900km across Spain.

My third entry of the flying kookaburra was a good contender but missed out on a place. This Artwork will be on show at the lapunyah art gallery for a week with my possum.
I was super happy with a first and second place in the 2024 Chinchilla art show.

I would like to thank the staff, judges, stewards and anyone else involved at the Chinchilla Show Society.
