Osborne has created a sketch journaling workshop and wanted to find a small, affordable journal that he could incorporate into the price of the course. After some online searching, he managed to find a 12-page blank journal for only a few dollars, which seemed perfect for his needs. He took some time sketching in it with pen and ink. This experience helped him evaluate the journal’s quality and usability. He has decided that it is functional and durable, making it acceptable to use in his workshops.
