Black Ink Sketching

A 4hr workshop that will cover sketching with waterproof ink on paper. You will be taught line and shading techniques to build up tone in a drawing that will be useful for watercolour & ink workshops.

This is an excellent introduction workshop for people that have not sketched with ink pens before. Similar to the ink journaling workshop but you will be working on a larger paper and more detailed subjects.

Each student will be supplied with pens and paper for exercises and a final ink sketch that can be completed at home.

Skills you have learned

After you have learned how to use your pens with different hatching techniques you will then use these new skills to start sketching on larger sheets of paper.

The course will be follow by example, Osborne will explain each technique while sketching in ink.
